The Faker opens with the five dancers sitting downstage in a horizontal line. Facing the audience, they begin the prologue of the piece as they bite, suck, grab and push each other. At the end of this sequence, one dancer takes another dancer's s finger into her mouth. The image of the finger oscillates between the appearance of a gun and a sexually explicit act.
